South Africa with qualification advantage thanks to Mokoena strike
South Africa are in the driving seat in Group G of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification thanks to a lone strike from Teboho Mokoena.
Mokoena pounced on an perfectly executed cross from Keagan Dolly in the 26th minute to give Bafana Bafana a much needed three-point advantage heading to the final showdown with Ghana on Sunday.
The Black Stars also faced off with Ethiopia and managed to take one point from the match. South Africa currently have 13 points whilst Ghana have 10 and will have to avoid defeat to advance to the final round of qualification.
Ghana will hope to get the job done in Cape Coast.
