Sports Ministry deny agreeing $45,000 per month salary for Black Stars new head coach

The Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture has disclosed that it is not true it has agreed to a $45,000 per month salary for a new Black Stars head coach.

In the past week, it has been reported that the Ministry after a meeting with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has approved the appointment of Milovan Rajevac as the new Ghana national team coach.

Information gathered also noted that the Sports Ministry has given its consent to a $45,000 monthly salary for the coach.

Having taken notice of the publications in the media, the Sports Ministry has released a statement to set the record straight.
