Strasbourg forward Majeed Waris available to face Lille after injury recovery
Ghana international Majeed Waris has been declared fit to feature against Lille in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The enterprising forward missed the side 1-0 win over Lens mid-week due to injury.
Ahead of their clash with Lille, Strasbourg coach Julien Stéphan has disclosed Waris is available for the clash.
“The three absent in Lens (1-0 victory of the RCSA, Wednesday), Dimitri Liénard (middle, current left piston), Majeed Waris (striker) and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (middle) performed an individualized session on Thursday which took place well spent, ” said Strasbourg coach Julien Stéphan.
“It’s going better and we hope they will be usable” he added.
Majeed Waris has made five appearances for Strasbourg in the ongoing campaign.
Strasbourg is placed 9th on the league table with 10 points matchday seven.
