Summerfield Dynamos coach Clinton Larsen shocked by Samuel Darpoh’s homeless report
Summerfield Dynamos coach Clinton Larsen has disclosed that he is not aware that Ghanaian midfielder Samuel Darpoh is currently homeless.
According to citizen.co.za, the 23-year-old was struggling to pay for his own place while he awaits another chance to play football again.
Speaking to Kickoff.com, Larsen said it was news to him as far as he knows Darpoh is not without a club and is well-taken care of.
“He is homeless?” reacted Larsen with shock.
“Yes he’s playing for me, So he’s fine I don’t know where that story comes from.
“All our players are paid, and on time. We are not like some other teams.
“If he had a problem with the accommodation he would have let us know. Well, as far as I know, he’s got his own place. I don’t worry about gossip stories, on the field he’s playing very, very well,” Larsen told Kickoff.com.
