Swansea boss Cooper, full of praise for Ghana captain Ayew.
Ghana Captain Andre Ayew received all the plaudits from Swansea City manager Steve Cooper following the team’s 3-0 win against Millwall in the English Championship.
The Swans finally bounced back to winning ways over the weekend with an emphatic victory which saw Ayew grab a goal and assist.
Speaking on the performance of the Black Stats captain and other attackers who helped the team to get the win, manager Steve Cooper has praised them for their efforts.
“I thought we were a real attacking threat all game.
“I think Wayne (Routledge), coming into the team, was excellent, Andre has scored at a brilliant time, just before half-time, and he was a real nuisance for the Millwall defenders,” the gaffer said after the match.
“He was taking up areas where he was perhaps not getting the ball, but he was dragging people out of areas to exploit spaces elsewhere” – Manager Steve Cooper added
