Ace British broadcaster, Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan has reacted to the penalty awarded Argentina in the ongoing 2022 World cup finale in Qatar.
Lionel Andrés Messi was foul in the France 18-yard box causing the referee to award the team a penalty.
The decision put the La albicelestein of Argentina a one goal lead ahead of the defending champions France, courtesy Andrés Messi.
But reacting to the penalty in a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com Mr Morgan who had earlier predicted a 3-1 defeat against the renowned world footballer and his team said “That wasn’t a penalty”.

His followers however, shared varied views about his tweet.
While some were in agreement with his comment, others think other wise.
This is what they had to say:
Argentina don't deserve their place in the World Cup final, because all they have done is dive. If you can only get through on penalties you don't deserve your place 😡 they're a disgrace 😡

That penalty right there was scored by the 🐐 @Messi as you clearly don't know what one looks like!

I support Argentina, but come on, that wasn't a penalty.

1 main referee, 2 side referees, 1 assistant referee + 5 VAR referees, a total of 9 fifa-licensed referees say yes. but Morgan says no. 🙌😂 a great self-confidence 🤦

Mr Morgan had earlier predicted Messi will cry because he will suffer a 3-1 defeat in the hands of France.
“PREDICTION: France will beat Argentina 3-1 to win the World Cup. Mbappe will score twice; Griezmann will be MoM, and Messi will cry,” he tweeted.
