TOPA honours GFA president Kurt Okraku for transforming Ghana football
The Techiman Old Players Association have honoured Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku for his transformational journey since becoming the President of the Ghana Football Association.
Honouring the president with a beautifully designed smock, leader of the TOPA and former Ghana player Ntow Gyan applauded the GFA President for embarking on the review tour in the Brong and Ahafo Regions in a bid to get Ghana football on top.
He also thanked the GFA President for his all-inclusive governance in choosing competent people to work on the technical teams of the various national teams without forgetting some of them from Techiman.
“We are happy the president has visited us here in Techiman. This is something we have never seen before; that the sitting president of the GFA is visiting clubs,” he said.
“Apart from that, we want to thank the president for his undiluted preference for competent people to be part of the technical team and also given some of our old players the opportunity to serve the country again. We are grateful,” Ntow Gyan added.
The TOPA presented the beautiful smock to the GFA President during his review tour of the Brong Ahafo Region.
