Trabzonspor forward Caleb Ekuban's leave extended to July 18

Ghana forward Caleb Ekuban has been handed an extension of his leave days after failing to report for pre-season on July 13, 2021.

The 27-year-old has failed to report for pre-season training amid interests from French Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne.

Footballghana.com understands the enterprising forward has a tax problem in Turkey and could not travel to join his teammates, hence the decision to extend his leave.

It is said Ekuban wanted the club to pay the money to the Turkey tax officials or he leaves the club this summer.

But management has decided not to interfere in the tax affairs of the player.
