TS Galaxy rubbish report suggesting Ghanaian striker Mohammed Anas was sacked because he is cursed
South Africa PSL outfit, TS Galaxy have rubbished claims that it sacked Ghanaian striker Mohammed Anas because he is cursed.
During last week, several reports suggested that the club has parted ways with the forward after finding out that every club he plays for ends up going on relegation.
Setting the record straight, the media officer of TS Galaxy, Minenhle Mkhize says those allegations are not true.
“It is not true that we let him go because of bad luck. Yes, the club has parted ways with him amicably,” Mkhize said, as quoted by Soccer Laduma.
He added, “He didn’t feature in the coach’s plan. The club sat down with him and explained the whole situation.
“We can’t cut ties with the player because of bad luck because there is no substance to that reasoning. It was purely because he didn’t feature in the new technical team’s plans.”
Meanwhile, information gathered now is that Mohammed Anas is considering early retirement over the reports in the media.
