U20 AFCON: Ghana to face Cameroon in quarter-final
Ghana will play Cameroon at the quarter-final of the U20 AFCON following their defeat against Gambia in their last group game on Monday.
The Black Satellites succumbed to 2-1 defeat to Gambia to finish third in the group.
Ghana dropped to third with 4 points and qualify as one of the 3 best third place teams in the tournament.
Morocco who defeated Tanzania 3 nil in the other Group C game topped the group with 7 points with Gambia finishing second.
Karim Zito’s side will face Cameroom next in the quarter finals of the competition.
The clash with Cameroon will take place on Thursday February 25 at the Stade Olympique (Nouakchott).
