USL Championship side Switchbacks FC complete signing of Ghanaian forward Elvis Amoh

United Soccer League outfit Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Elvis Amoh.

The 29-year-old enjoyed a descent campaign last season with Rio Grande Valley FC scoring 13 times in 22 games.

He is expected to play a key role for the club due to his experience in the USL Championship.

The former Asante Kotoko marksman has had stints with Loudon United in the same league.

Reacting to his move, Amoh said, “First I want to thank God for the opportunity and to everyone who has helped me throughout this journey,”

“I also want to say a big thank you to RGV. I am grateful to them for everything. I am excited to start this new journey with the Switchbacks. This is my new home now and I pray for more great memories here.”

Switchbacks FC Coach Brendan Burke also said, “Elvis was a top performer in our conference last year and dangerous in a number of different ways as his goals record showed,”

“Adding a player with his size, pace and technical ability will give us a dimension that we didn’t really have last year.  We are delighted to be adding another humble, bright and hungry player to our group for ‘22.” He said.
