UWRFA Division Two middle League: Yaasin Juniors defeat WA United to seal Division One slot
The Upper West Regional Division Two league came to an end on Wednesday evening with the climax of the competition at the Wa sports stadium, to determine who represents the Region in this year’s Division One League.
The Team of the Tournament by far Yaasin Juniors, got the only goal of the game after just 3 minutes from the spot kick. Theophilus converted to win his Team the converted Trophy 🏆.
Yaasin Juniors topped the middle league table with Wa United on 11 points and same head to head, rendering a playoff to determine the Champion in accordance to GFA regulations.
Six teams participated in the middle, Wa United. Yaasin Juniors, Sombo Freedom Stars, Ziko Babies, Happy Stars and Kpujinang FC.
The National Division One League 2021/22 season kicks off on the 11th of November this year.
