VfB Stuttgart’s Nikolas Nartey to sit out for weeks due to knee injury
VfB Stuttgart midfielder, Nikolas Nartey is expected to be in the nursing room for more weeks.
The Danish-born of Ghanaian descent has been out of action since February due to a knee injury.
Head coach of the side, Pellegrino Matarazzo speaking ahead of their game against Hertha Berlin revealed that Nartey’s return has been further delayed.
“It’s going okay. So not great, but not bad either. Somewhere within the framework in which it should also run. But it’s clear that he still needs a little more time,” he said.
Nartey has made a total of eight appearances for the Bundesliga club in the ongoing 2021/22 season.
