VIDEO: Ebusua Dwarfs fans charge on goalkeeper Razak Issah over betting clains in defeat to Elmina Sharks

Fans of Ebusua Dwarfs charged on their goalkeeper Abdul Razak Issah for committing a late penalty which led to their defeat to Elmina Sharks in their regional derby in the Ghana Premier League.

The goalkeeper was believed to have elbowed an attacker of Elmina Sharks on the 85th minute which led to a penalty that gave the home side a solitary win over the Crabs.

The fans who were unhappy with the conduct of the goalkeeper charged on him after the game and it took the intervention of the police to prevent the fans from physically assaulting him.

Razak was kept in the dressing room for over 30 minutes as the charged fans kept banging and pushing to get access to him.

The intervention of the police and some top club officials calmed some of the fans down but were still unsatisfied and chased the shot stopped as he left the dressing room to join his team makes in their bus.

A section of the fans insisted the goalkeeper staked a bet with the game hence committing that penalty which resulted in their defeat.

Footballmadeinghana.com, however, understands that the goalkeeper has apologized to the supporters for his conduct that led to their defeat.
