VIDEO: Frank Acheampong scores in Shenzhen FC defeat to Shanghai Port
Ghana winger Frank Acheampong was on target for Shenzhen FC in their 3-1 defeat to Shanghai Port in the Chinese Super League on Sunday.
The 28-year-old’s goal was not enough as his side lost their match week 19 encounter at the Pudong Football Stadium.
Shanghai Port opened the scoring in the 8th minute of the game through Liu Zhurun but Acheampong bagged the equaliser for the visitors nine minutes later
Goals from Shenyuan Li and Oscar in the 62nd and 69th minutes of the second half saw Shanghai Port condemn Frank Acheampong and his teammates to a 3-1 defeat on the road.
Despite the defeat, Shenzhen FC are 5th on the Chinese Super League table with 29 points after 19 matches played so far.
Acheampong has now scored five goals and provided one assist in 19 league appearances for Shenzhen FC so far this season.
