VIDEO: Nigeria’s Super Eagles forced to use a semi-crocked airstair to exit airplane after arriving for Ghana clash
It was an eye-saw on Thursday as the Nigeria team had to exit their airplane in the most unusual circumstance.
While it remains unclear what was the reason, a video that has gone viral this evening shows that no arrangement was made for a fitting ladder to help the Super Eagles contingent to exit their plane.
The only ladder available was short as players were forced to jump a distance before being able to use the stairs to exit the plane.
Watch in the video below:
Although there have not been complaints, sources say officials of the Nigeria national team are not happy.
The Super Eagles are currently in Kumasi where they will engage the Black Stars in the first leg of the playoff tie of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament is scheduled to be played on Friday, March 24, 2022.
Tomorrow’s encounter between Ghana and Nigeria is scheduled kick-off at 19:30GMT.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria team will hold a training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this evening.
