Ghanaian defender Osei-Tutu scores as Rotherham United beat Sutton United to lift Papa Johns Trophy

English-born Ghanaian defender Jordi Osei-Tutu was on target for Rotherham United in their 4-2 win over Sutton United to lift Papa Johns Trophy on Sunday after extra time.

The 23-year-old climbed off the bench to help his side clinch the trophy at Wembley.

Osei-Tutu equalised in the sixth minute of added time at the end of the second half after Sutton took a 2-1 lead over the League One leaders.

Donovan Wilson opened the scoring for the U’s into a first-half lead before Ben Wiles equalised for Rotherham in the 42nd minute.

Sutton captain Craig Eastmond’s cool finish again gave the south London side the lead early in the second half, only for the Ghanaian’s strike to make it 2-2 right at the end.
