VIDEO: Watch Sulley Muntari’s first goal for Hearts of Oak in win against WAFA SC
Ghana international midfielder Sulley Muntari on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, scored his first goal for giants, Hearts of Oak in their matchday 19 of the domestic top-flight league game at the Accra Sports Stadium against WAFA.
The 37-year-old has been outstanding for the Phobians in the Ghana Premier League since his arrival.
The former Inter and AC Milan star had to wait until his 5th game to score his first goal for the reigning Ghana Premier League champions.
Muntari scored from the spot on the 75th minute to make it 2-1 when WAFA goalkeeper fouled Patrick Razak in the penalty area.
The experienced player is being considered for Ghana call-up ahead of the crucial World Cup game against Nigeria later this month.
He was instrumental when Hearts of Oak defeated Kotoko 2-1 last Friday in the President Cup.
