VRFA Division Two Middle League : Akatsi All Stars defeat Home Stars FC to qualify for Division One
Akatsi All Stars have qualified to play in the zone one Division three League after beating Home Stars 3-1 on penalties in the final of the Volta Regional division two Middle League.
It was an intriguing final as both side failed to find the back of the net in the first half despite creating so many goalscoring opportunities.
There was no goal in the second half either as the proceedings ended goalless. Penalty shootouts was the next mechanism to use before a team could emerge in the winner
In the penalties, Akatsi All Stars scored 3, whiles Home Stars were able to convert only 1 of their kicks..
Akatsi will participate in the 2021/22 Ghana Division One League campaign in Zone 3.
