WAFA suspends Ransford Darko for abscodment
Ghana Premier League side WAFA have suspended teenage defender Ransford Darko for going AWOL from camp.
In a short statement published by the club, WAFA claimed they needed to take this action against the 19 year old after absconded from the Academy premises on 7th February 2021.
The club condemned the act as unprofessional and one that needs curbing.
In taking action to instill discipline at the club WAFA has decided to suspend Ransford Darko albeit temporarily as they find a way out subsequently.
During his suspension, the player is barred from taking part in any football related activity with WAFA or any other club.
