WAFU Zone B General Assembly comes off on Saturday
The Ghana Football Association wishes to inform the General public that the 14thWAFU Zone B General Assembly will go ahead as planned.
Accra will host our neighbours from Zone B on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Swiss Spirits Alisa Hotel.
The meeting will bring together Federation Presidents and General Secretaries from Cote d’Ivoire, Benin, Togo, Niger, Burkina Faso, Nigeria and host nation Ghana.
The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association and some other revered football luminaries will be in attendance for the opening ceremony.
The Sports Minister of the Republic of Ghana, Mustapha Ussif (Hon.) will deliver the key note address at the WAFU B General Assembly.
President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku will play an integral role in the organization of the meeting in his capacity as Vice President of WAFU Zone B.
The General Assembly is the supreme legislative organ of the Regional football block where key decisions are made for implementation by the WAFU Zone B Secretariat.
The Sports media is hereby informed that the opening and closing ceremony is open to the media.
