Watch highlights of Hearts of Oak 2-3 loss to Accra Lions in friendly match
Newly promoted Premier League side Accra Lions FC defeated Hearts of Oak 3-2 on Sunday afternoon in a pre-season friendly match at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored for the Phobians to cancel Oliver Amedor’s early goal for Lions. Hearts of Oak went into the first half break leading by 2-1 courtesy a goal from Isaac Mensah.
After recess, the visitors managed to draw parity through Shawkan Mohammed before Rauf Salifu scored the winner to make it 3-2.
Hearts of Oak also lost by 1-0 to Togolese champions ASKO de Kara in club-friendly on Monday.
Hearts of Oak are preparing for their CAF Champions League campaign as they come up against CI Kamsar next weekend.
