WCQ 2022: Skipper Andre Ayew, two others first to report for Ghana camping
Ghana skipper Andre Ayew together with two other players are the first to arrive in the country to start camping for the World Cup qualifier with Zimbabwe.
The skipper is joined by playmaker Yaw Yeboah and Swindon Town shot stopper Jojo Wallocott who has been handed his first call up.
The three have already reported to camp and will be joined by their other colleagues later today.
Twenty other players are expected to join the three in camp later today.
The Black Stars spark their camping ahead of the double header with Zimbabwe on Monday with Milovan Rajevac set to commence his first training upon his return as Ghana coach.
Ghana’s chances of making but to Qatar in 2022 for the World Cup is set to be given new life with Milovan Rajevac in the driving seat.
The Black Stars will take on the Warriors of Zimbabwe on Saturday in Cape Coast with the return leg set to be played in Harare 3 days later.
Ghana is behind South Africa who are on top of the group with 4 points and are looking to win both games against Zimbabwe to reclaim top spot.
