We are Hearts of Oak and we are not giving up - Samuel Boadu

Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has reiterated that they are not giving up despite their torrid start of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League campaign.

After two games played, the Ghana Premier League champions are yet to secure a win.

The Phobians were held at home by Legon Cities in the season opener at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Boadu and his charges were hosted at the Reb Bull Arena by WAFA in the matchday 2 games on Friday.

However, after Kofi Kordzie broke the deadlock for the Phobians, Sampson Agyapong levelled his side up to end the game 1-1.

After picking two points out of a possible six, Boadu believes they will stick together and make sure they return to winning ways.

“When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too,” he told the official club website.

“With continuous practice, we will get better. We are Accra Hearts of Oak and we never say die.

“Let’s do this – and let’s do it together,” he added.

Hearts of Oak will host Aduana Stars in the matchday 3 games at the Accra Sports Stadium.
