Thomas Partey, a midfielder for the Black Stars and Arsenal, says the squad can qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
On Friday, March 25, 2022, the Black Stars will face the Super Eagles in a crucial World Cup qualifier.
Nigeria has been rated as the favorite for the match, but Partey believes Ghana will defeat the Super Eagles.
According to reports, Thomas Partey will captain the Black Stars against the Super Eagles.
The Black Stars midfielder stated each member of the squad feels confident ahead of the encounter during a media presentation.
“We will do our best to qualify. We believe in ourselves, we believe in each other and we are confident we can qualify,” he said.
On Friday, March 25, 2022, Ghana will host the first leg at the Baba Yara Sports stadium before traveling to Abuja for the second leg on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
