We will fight until the last moment, says Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac ahead of Comoros game
Ghana head coach, Milovan Rajevac has emphasised that his team will fight until the end to ensure the Black Stars succeed.
The Serbian tactician took the Black Stars to Cameroon to compete for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title.
Unfortunately, things have not gone according to plan with Ghana winless from the first two matches in Group C.
Ahead of the deciding final group game against Comoros, Coach Milovan Rajevac has emphasised that he is not ready to go home with the team.
According to him, the team is ready to fight until the end to ensure there is progression to the knockout stage of the tournament.
“We will fight until the last moment in every match, for us, it is important that we still have a chance to qualify and we are all aware of that.
“We will do our best, we will motivate the players, we are all aware how important this is and we don’t want to go home,” the Ghana coach said at a press conference.
Milovan Rajevac continued, “We want to stay in the competition and we will do everything in our power to make it happen.”
Ghana will take on Comoros on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 7pm at the Roumdé Adjia stadium in Garoua.
