World Cup play-off: Nigeria to hold final training in Abuja before leaving for Ghana clash on Thursday

Nigeria will hold their final training session in Abuja this evening before leaving for Ghana clash in the World Cup play-off.

The Super Eagles held their first training session on Tuesday night with 21 players reporting for the first day training.

The team is expected to hold another training session at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Wednesday night before leaving for Ghana on Thursday morning.

They will have their mandated training session at the Baba Yara Stadium later on Thursday.

Defenders: Oluwasemilogo Ajayi (West Bromwich Albion, England); Kenneth Omeruo (CD Leganes, Spain); Leon Balogun (Glasgow Rangers, Scotland); William Ekong (Watford FC, England); Olaoluwa Aina (Torino FC, Italy); Calvin Bassey (Glasgow Rangers, Scotland); Abdullahi Shehu (AC Omonia, Cyprus); Zaidu Sanusi (FC Porto, Portugal)

The Super Eagles will play the Black Stars in a two-legged encounter with the winner securing one of the five slots on the African continent.

The first leg of the titanic qualifying tie will be played March 25 at the Baba Yara Stadium before the reverse encounter on March 29 at the Moshood Abiola national stadium in Abuja.
