World Cup qualifiers : Black Stars to begin camping on Tuesday

The Ghana national team will  begin camping on Tuesday ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Ethiopia on Friday.

Head coach CK Akonnor is expecting majority of the squad to be available for the first training session which will be held at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Jordan Ayew, Abdul Baba Rahman, Andy Yiadom, Daniel Amartey and Tariqe Fosu have been blocked by their clubs from travelling due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Due to this, some replacements have been made including Joseph Aidoo, Yaw Yeboah and Daniel Kofi Kyereh among others.

The team is expected to play against Ethiopia on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 7pm. Ghana will hope to start the campaign on a high.
