The President and Founder of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, a policy Think Tank, Mr Franklin Cudjoe has expressed worry following news of the dead of Chad President, Idriss Déby Itno in rebel clashes over the weekend.
According to him, he was sure the country’s security service was on high security alert following the news adding the country will be in trouble if the rebel group in Chad breaks boundaries and form alliance with discontented youth in the country.
His worry stems from report few days ago that about nine (9) Nigerian prison breakers had been arrested in the country.
“If these rebels break through Burkina Faso, Chad, Mauritania, Mali, Niger and Mali, and band with discontented youth in our land, we are in trouble. We just found Nigerian prison breakers in Ghana. I am sure Ghana’s security services are on top of their game”.
Mr Cudjoe made the comment while reacting to the dead of Chad President, Idriss Déby Itno in a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com.
