Roberto Martinez makes Belgian fans completely wild: “Doku is ready for that”
Roberto Martinez gave a little bit of his future plans with the Red Devils in an interview with VTM News.
He hopes that he will still be the national coach by 2026 and that the new batch will be ready to hit the ground running by then.
He was also asked whether any young players will be ready for the World Cup in 2022.
Martinez replied that this may be the case and that Jeremy Doku is completely ready for this.
Winger Jeremy Doku was the most talked about youngster during the Euro 2020 tournament because of the determination he showed and performance he produced in the few minutes he played.
Doku after the tournament was linked to the top clubs in Europe due to his output for Belgium at the Euro 2020. He looks set to stay at Rennes and play alongside another sensational youngster Kamaldeen Sulemana who joined the club this summer.
