Black Stars set to begin camping for WC qualifiers on Tuesday

The Ghana national team will start camping ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Ethiopia on Tuesday.

CK Akonnor enters the camp without five England-based players due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Jordan Ayew, Abdul Baba Rahman, Andy Yiadom, Daniel Amartey and Tariqe Fosu were the ones blocked by their clubs from travelling.

Due to this, some replacements have been made including Joseph Aidoo, Yaw Yeboah and Daniel Kofi Kyereh among others.

The team is expected to play against Ethiopia on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 7pm. Ghana will hope to start the campaign on a high.
