Accra Lions sign midfielder Abass Salifu to strength squad for Premier League campaign
Ghana Premier League newcomers, Accra Lions FC have completed the signing of talented midfielder Abass Samari Salifu to strengthen the squad of the team.
The Accra-based outfit last season displayed impressive form and managed to secure promotion from the National Division One League at the end of the long campaign.
Set to compete in the Ghana Premier League in the 2021/2022 football season, the management of Accra Lions FC have started bringing in reinforcement to bolster its squad.
Today, the club has announced that it has successfully signed teenage sensation Abass Salifu.
“Accra Lions Football Club have completed the signing of 17-year-old midfielder Abass Samari Salifu. The highly talented teenager joins us from Division One League side Young Apostles FC,” an official statement on the Twitter page of the club has said.
On Tuesday, the club also wrapped up the signing of Nigerian striker Evans Eenee.
Talks are reportedly ongoing with representatives of other players as Accra Lions FC aims to present a strong squad for the Premier League campaign.
