The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has final spoken about the $40,000 bribery allegation made against him by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) all throughout the week.
According to him, the NDC’s fabricated and doctored tape aimed to serve as a tool to rescue their collapsed campaign to the Presidency won’t work because Ghanaians were descending now more than ever and would not fall for such fallacious accusations.
“The NDC’s Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama, bereft of records, empty of vision, bankrupt of ideas, whose campaign has collapsed in confusion, in deceit, in lies and outright fabrications who today is hanging his political career which is in tattered of fabricated and doctored tape as a pack to power, it will not happen the Ghanaian people are not ready to go down that avenue to the highest office in our country. It will not happen,” he said.
The President responded to the allegations at the Party’s final rally held at Mantse Aboana in James Town in the Odododiodoo Constituency on Saturday, December 5, 2020, and monitored by GhanaPlus.com
He noted that the ex-President Mahama couldn’t fulfill the task handed him by Ghanaians and as such lack a message to tell them hence his resort to deceptive lies and doctored tapes to rescue his image.
He called on the citizenry to reject him and give his administration four more years to serve Ghanaians.
