People enjoy my jokes because they can easily relate to them
Sadik Sulley popularly known in the showbiz fraternity as SDK Dele has confessed the difficulty involved in trying to crack jokes for others to laugh.
“It’s hard for you to joke in order to put smiles on the faces of people but first of all, you need to do comedy that people can easily relate to,” SDK revealed to Amansan Krakye.
Talking about comedy on Kastle FM in Cape Coast monitored by MyNewsGh.com, SDK Dele said though it’s difficult in trying to put smiles on the faces of people, jokes must be centered on issues that people can easily relate to.
He remarked “In Ghana for instance like some of the political jokes that I do, people will laugh and enjoy it because they can relate and they know how real it is.
“You can’t go and use the Japan President to crack jokes and you expect people to laugh here in Ghana because they won’t be able to relate to it that’s why there’s the need to do research,” he told the host.
“Sometimes you can put the jokes together but after you’ve finished you feel like this thing is not funny and it comes with that difficulty too,” he ended on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
