The Member of Parliament Ningo Prampram Constituency, Samuel Nartey George (Sam George)has taken on the New Patriotic Party’s Bryan Acheampong following his outburst earlier today at the NPP’s Unity Walk at Kwahu in the Eastern Region.
NPP will never hand over power to NDC
Mr Acheampong on Saturday, April 8 told the massive NPP party faithful’s who had gathered inside Mpraeso township that the party will show the NDC they have the men should they adopt any aggressiveness come 2024 elections.
He also indicated there was no way the ruling government will hand over power to its main opposition party adding that they will do all it takes to ensure power does not fall in the hands of the opposition NDC.
“If they intend to use any aggressiveness and foolishness in 2024, we will show them that we have the man. We have the men,” he said.
“For we the NPP party which is in power now, for us to stand on a platform and hand over power to the NDC, it will never happen.
“It will never happen!, it will never happen!, it will never happen!, it will not!,” Bryan Acheampong said repeatedly.
“Anything possible that we will do to ensure that 2024 elections NPP will be in power, we will ,” he added.
Sam George on Bryan Acheampong Unity Walk outburst
But reacting to the outburst in a Facebook post sighted by GhanaPlus.com, Sam George as he is affectionately called described the outburst by Mr Acheampong as “ranting by scarecrow and hype simpletons into cult status”.
He noted the NDC are children of a revolution and quizzed if they should dare Mr Acheampong who he described as imposter to try what he was professing.
Sam George wrote “ My beloved NDC! We are worried of the rantings of scarecrows and hype simpletons into cult status. Bryan Acheampong and Joe Anokye on my mind.
Can we go back to our old days? We are children of a REVOLUTION! Can we call these imposters out and dare them to try? People who did a 6 month Military Course now threaten the NDC? I mean how?! Let’s stop glorifying folks who don’t deserve our attention and focus on what we have to do.
Let me go back to my Easter meditations. Shalom! 🦁🙏🏾”
