NPP will never hand over power to NDC -Bryan Acheampong

Vida Essel-LampteyMember of Parliament for the Abetifi Constituency and Minister for Food and Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong has said the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will never hand over power to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) come 2024.
According to him, the party will do everything possible to make sure it retains its position as the ruling government of the country.
Mr Bryan Acheampong was addressing party supporters in a viral video sighted by GhanaPlus.com on Saturday, April 8.
“For we the NPP party which is in power now, to stand on a platform and hand over power to the NDC, it will never happen, it will never happen, it will never happen, it will never happen. It will not,” Bryan Acheampong said.
“Anything possible that we will do to ensure that 2024 elections NPP will be in power, we will,” he added.
Bawumia, Koduah, Bryan Acheampong leads The Mega Arise and Build Unity Walk” at Kwahu
Bryan Acheampong made the comment while addressing participants of the party’s unity walk, held at Kwahu on Saturday, April 8, as part of activities marking this year’s Easter festivities.
The walk “The Mega Arise and Build Unity Walk” was led by the Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahammudu Bawumia and attracted missive crowd, mostly, grassroots members of the ruling NPP.
Some members of the party’s leadership including the General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye, Members of Parliament (MPs) as well as regional and constituency executives were all present.
Saturday’s walk begun at Kwahu Bepong through to Abetifi and ended inside the Mpraeso township, where the Vice President, Dr Bawumia addressed the massive crowd who turn out for the walk.
