Two (2) young men tragically lost their lives on Thursday, February 23, 2023, when a tricycle (Pragya) in which they were travelling collided with a Kia truck at Amoah Nkwanta near Aboi Nkwanta in the Amenfi West Municipality.
According to the report, the tricycle was making a U-turn in the middle of the road when the Kia truck ran into it causing it to summersault and killing two (2) out of five (5) people in the tricycle
Speaking to Kakyire of Ahobraseye FM, Dr Agustine Konadu narrated what the eyewitness told him.
He said, “I was told about the accident around 5;30 AM, I rushed to the emergency ward and met 4 people who were injured due to the accident.”
Dr Konadu explained that due to the severity of the injury and how much blood they lost, two of them gave up the ghost at the hospital.
The doctor said the two others are responding to treatment and is hoping they come out successful.
He further advised the youth who ride these tricycles to be careful and adhere to traffic rules since most of them drive carelessly.
