30 UEW students involved in a gory accident on Accra – Kumasi highway


News reaching Distinguished.com indicates that 30 students of University of education Winneba has been involved in a fatal accident at Asuboi ( a town on the Accra – Kumasi highway) Eastern region, at 3am this dawn 13th March 2022.
An organized bus of students of the university of education Winneba with License Number (AK 324-22) from Sunyani heading to the Winneba campus which was loaded with 30 students and 19 normal passengers making 49 passengers in all was involved in a tragic accident.
Reports coming in indicates that 7 out of the 49 passengers of which one of them is a student are confirmed dead with 9 people battling with injuries including the bus organizer
Though the remaining 6 dead bodies are yet to be confirmed whether they are also students or not, a lady by name Loretta who is a student is the only student who has been confirmed dead.
There is more updates to come from this story. But at this moments families who have their relatives traveling from Sunyani to Winneba are expected to make follow up on the incident at hand.
