The Member Of Parliament (MP) for Shama Constituency Lawyer Samuel Ericson Abeka and his District Chief Executive (DCE) on Saturday 29th October 2022, inducted 32 Community Health Workers under the Youth Employment Agency Module and 8 minerals Commission River Wardens.
The Health Director for Shama District Madam Judith Naa Dede Okai advised the trainees to utilize the opportunity given to them. While detailing the responsibilities of the trainees which are to be liaisons or auxiliaries, she entreated them to work hard to enable the country to achieve universal health coverage by WHO.

The DCE applauded the member of Parliament for his selflessness and dedication to the youth in the area. He said there are lots of opportunities in the pipeline so the youth should position themselves to meet them.
On his part the Member of Parliament for Shama, Samuel Ericson Abeka pledged his support for the youth and promised to help solve youth unemployment in the constituency.
He was particularly happy that River Warden Joseph Paapa Cudjoe who emerged as the overall best graduating River Warden is a proud native of Shama Constituency and thus advised the youth to emulate him.
The member of Parliament also used the opportunity to thank the president for developing human capital and admitted the current hardship confronting the nation but said, the president is working tediously to solve it.
