The Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has said that the former President, Jerry John Rawlings died of poison and wrong injection.
According to him, the former astute statesman did not die a natural dead neither was his death God’s destiny for his life despite his age as the public was being made to believe.
He added that some persons in the country and within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) were responsible for his death.
“Our father J.J. Rawlings’ death, it is not God who called him, some people took his life and I will talk about it after the elections. There was poison and wrong injection involved,” he said
Rev Owusu Bempah was speaking in a telephone interview on Hello FM, a subsidiary radio station of the Despite Group in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
“People can live up to 80years and they are not done with their work on earth when an elderly person dies you don’t have to think that it is his destiny because a child to can die when it was not his/her destiny. Bad people can kill someone because of some power struggle,” he said.
J.J Rawlings Passes on
The former President, Jerry John Rawlings, died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on November 12, after a short illness.
The Ghanaian statesman and the founder of the largest opposition party, the NDC’s death occurred a few weeks after he buried his mother, Madam Victoria Agbotui.
He was 73-years-old at the time of his passing.
