LGBTQ+ : Don’t go believing Prof, Dr, not all of us are sane – Randy Abbey

Renowned television presenter and host of Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV, Mr Randy Abbey has advised Ghanaians not to believe fully everything said by persons with titles like professor and Dr about the LGBTQ+.
According to him, not all of them were sane neither were all of them right all the time.
“Am just warning you- Don’t go about thinking that anybody careering title professor , Dr what have you including myself is always right and is very sane and says everything which you should believe, please you listen to us with caution, I beg you,” Mr Abbey said.
“Is the same thing I have with grey hair, I tell people idiots grow old too, idiot grow old too, they do”, he added.
Mr Abbey made the remarks on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV monitored by GhanaPlus.com on Tuesday, October 12.
He opined some of the things such titled holders peddle were absurd and advised Ghanaians to be circumspect.
LGBTQ+: To legalize or not to legalize
He made the remarks in a contribution to the ongoing brouhaha about the whether or not to accept Lesbian, Gay, Bisexuals, Transgender and Queer Individuals (LGBTQI+) activities in the country discussions on going.
Ghana has been at the forefront of global news in recent time following a propose anti- gay bill to curtail the activities of LGBTQ+ in the country.
The bill dubbed, “Promotion of Proper Human Sexuality and Ghanaian family Value Bill” is currently before parliament and debate is expect to begin soon.
It has however, been met by stiff opposition by a group of prominent Ghanaians who were of the view it would be an affront on human right.
Many, including the clergy had also thrown their support behind the bill.
The LGBTQ+ bill is sponsored by six members of Parliament, including the Member of Parliament for the Ningo Prampram Constituency, Mr Samuel Nartey George.
