Renowned television and radio personality, Afia Pokua, Vim lady had debunked the assertions that any idiot can go to court.
According to her, the court was not meant for idiots adding that if you are an idiot you will not even find a lawyer.
“The statement that they have been saying that any idiot can go to court, Master, if you are idiot you can’t to court, simplicita, if you are an idiot you can’t find even the court, you cannot even find the writ, number one, if you are idiot you can’t even find a lawyer, you yourself you can’t find your own case, Master no idiot can go to court,” she said.
The outspoken media personality made the comment on her current affair’s programme Egyaso Gyaso on Okay FM on Monday, February 15, 2021 monitored by GhanaPlus.com.
Vim lady was speaking to foot soldiers of the various political parties over the 2020 election petition and the consequences that can befall them if they allow themselves to be led by politicians to conduct themselves in any manner that will lead to contempt of Court.
She explained although, Article 17 of Ghana’s Constitution guarantees that all Ghanaians shall be treated equally before the law and not discriminate against on the basis of gender, race, colour, ethnic origin, social and economic status etc the situation on the ground depict otherwise and urged them to think about what they could do to improve their lives and that of the families and not follow politicians.
“These are the issues that if you are a foot soldier you should make noise about, I said if you are a foot soldier make noise so that you can be equal to the politician.
“If you follow the election petition and you die you have died a stupid dead,” she noted.
She advised foot soldiers not to do anything that will be injurious to their freedom bemoaning the development in which foot soldiers takes to the various social media platforms to rein insults on people just to support the political affiliation.
