The leadership of the Ossa Madih Church at Etsi Fawomanye in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region are currently being pursued by the officials of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) for an illegal meter connection.
The head Pastor and his elders whose names have been withheld scaled through the wall after the ECG officials on a routine check detected an illegal connection to the meter.
It later came out that the church has indulged in the illegal act for five years and has not been paying electricity bills.
Apart from the illegal Electricity Connection to the Church, the head pastor has also extended it to the Mission House.
Speaking to the media in an interview, Fault Supervisor for ECG at Ajumako Enyan Essiam District, Mr Maxwell Essel said, the wife of the Pastor has been served a summon letter to answer questions on why they bypassed the meter given to them by the ECG.
