Police launches investigation into Nana Agraada recent ‘sika gari’ scam at her church
The Ghana Police Service has launched detailed investigations into an alleged money-doubling fraud, often known as a sika gari, against Patricia Aseidua, a former fetish priestess who is now an evangelist and is known to certain people as Nana Agradaa.

The police took action after recordings detailing the experiences of several victims who had fallen for Nana Agradaa’s con started to circulate on social media.
The Police said in a statement:
“The Police have commenced investigation into alleged money doubling scam allegedly perpetrated against some members of the Heaven Way Church in Weija, Accra, by the founder of the church Patricia Asiedu.
“The investigation was initiated following reports that have come to the attention of the Police on the matter.
“We would like to urge anyone with information that can assist the investigation to report to the Accra Regional Police Command at Accra Central close to the COCOBOD building.
“While the investigation continues, we urge everyone, especially those who might have been affected to remain calm and not take the law into their own hands,” the statement published on Saturday, October 8, concluded.
According to our sources, because the penitent priestess had previously announced through her television channel, Thunder TV, that she was going to give out money to people, it had previously been reported that some individuals showed up in their numbers at the church of the “confidence trickster.”
Additionally, it is said that she advertised that she would double any donations made on the day to her church, Heavenway Champion International Ministry.
However, it appears the evangelist just used the gullibility of the numerous individuals that showed up at her church to extort money from them, as has been characteristic of her, especially from the days when she was a fetish priestess.
As shown in some of the accessible films, she booted them after she was finished.
