SDA organises its first Bible quiz in Western Region
The Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church of the South-West Ghana Conference in the Western Region organized its 1st Edition of Bible Genius Quiz at Takoradi Central Church.

The program was organized by the communication department of the conference, in attendance were 22 Districts churches who participated, namely Atobiase, Ateiku, Daboase, Shama, Anaji West, Sekondi East, Sekondi West, Takoradi East, Takoradi West, Takoradi Central, Apowa, Agona East, Agona West, Mpohor, Axim, kikam, Anwia, Enyinase, Tikobo 1, Half Asini, Ellubo and Princes District all under the SWGC.
The President of the conference, Pastor Yaw Kwakye Adeefe gave the opening address and touched on the need to read the Bible as it is the word of God.
Some invited dignities were Pastor Daniel Armstrong Kuma (The executive secretary of SWGC), Mr. Francis Atuahene (CEO, AGC) and all the district pastors under the South West Ghana Conference of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

The Quiz was first done in five groups of four and two outstanding. The first two winners of every group were chosen to meet in the final round.
The first two winners of the various groups who made it to the final were Mpohor, Takoradi East, Anaji West, Shama, Takoradi Central, Anwiah, Atobiase, Enyinase, Apowa and Sekondi West.
At the end of the contest, Takoradi Central District won the ultimate prize with 50 points to Apowa District second position with 45 points and Shama District in the third position with 43 points.
The winners were represented by the youngest participant,14-year-old girl Scholastica Mary Kuma and other participants namely Prince Martine Antwi and Augustine Paa Kwesi Bentum.
The participants took the opportunity to thank the organizers for such a wonderful program and plead for continuity and also edge fellow friends to participate when the time comes.
