Two confirm dead, four hospitalized in Kaaka’s murder protest at Ejura

Two persons have been confirmed death in the protest at Ejura following the murder of #FixTheCountry campaigner and social activist, Kaaka Anyass Ibrahim, TV3 Midday News has confirmed.
Four others had also been hospitalized at the Ejura Government Hospital in the Ashanti Region after law enforcers shot into a crowd demonstrating over the death of Kaaka.
Videos of the military shooting into the demonstrators on the street who in turn pelt stones and other objects at them had been circulating on various social media platforms.
Report said the demonstrators numbering hundreds (100s) and mainly youth in Dagombaline, a suburb of Ejura stormed the street early Tuesday, June 29 mornings to demand justice for the murdered social activist who lost his life days after he was mob attacked in the community.
However, things got out of hand resulting in the shooting which injured the four and saw the two lost their lives.
The injured are reported to be receiving care at the Ejura Government Hospital

#FixTheCountry Campaigner dies after mob attack
Kaaka Anyass Ibrahim, a member of the #FixTheCountry movement and the Economic Fighters League died at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital on Monday, June 28 after he was mob attacked on Friday, June 25 at Ejura in the Ashanti Region.
Leadership of the #FixTheCountry Campaign in a statement said Kaaka received several threats on his life prior to his death some of which was reported to the police.
According to the statement the threat were allegedly received from body guards of Municipal Chief Executive Officer(MCE) for the area.
His death has caused agitations across the length and breadth of the country including Ejura where he resides.
Two persons has however, been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in connection to the murder which has cause so much agitations in the Ghanaian media space, most especially, social media.
