Akufo-Addo’s reasons for smaller govt a scam, he was forced by NPP MPs’ defeats – Umaru Sanda
Broadcast Journalist of Accra-based Citi FM Umaru Sanda has said that the President’s reason for cutting down on his Ministers is a scam.
According to him, the President would have created new Ministries if he had a comfortable majority in Parliament.
He said in a post on Facebook that “Fellow Skirt & Blouse Association Members, The President’s explanation for reducing the number of Ministers is a scam. If he had a comfortable majority, like by now, we would be saddled with a Special Minister for Free SHS or something even more ridiculous. My friends, Victory is ours. Let’s, therefore, drink fresh cow BREAST MILK this day in celebration of the confusion we left behind on December 7! By the way, which Minister/Ministry are you happy to see out of Government?”
The President of Ghana succumb to pressure from the people of Ghana and has decided to reduce the number of Ministers for his second term.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says he will work with 85 Ministers and has since released a list of 46 Ministers and Regional Ministers who are expected to go through vetting in Parliament for their approval.
