The Chief Executive Officer of the Atta-Mills Institute, Mr Samuel Koku Anyidoho has said the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia has bitten more than he can chew.
“Johnson Kwadwo Asiedu-Nketiah has bitten more than he can chew. His perfidious cup has run over,” he said.
The suspended member of the party made the comment in a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com on August 20.

Retract my expulsion in 72hrs or else – Koku Anyidoho tells Asiedu Nketia
His comment comes days after he gave the General Secretary an ultimatum to retract his expulsion notice within the public domain and also set aside the Disciplinary Committee’s recommendations, the basis for which he was expelled from the party.
“As a conscience individual whose sentiments are rooted in equity and fairness, I demand as a matter of urgency that you within 72hours of receipts of this response unequivocally retract the purported notice of my expulsion given to the media and circulated to unsuspected Ghanaians and similarly set aside the recommendations of the National Disciplinary Committee as same as founded on an illegality and is void abs initio”.
“I hope that you shall accede to my demands such that in line with the spirit of the Constitution of the NDC we are able to bring finality to matter internally. Else I shall be forced to seek redress in the court of law that are characteristically not partial to exercise fairness in this matter,” the letter dated August 18 read.
He maintained he was a loyal member of the party and would not be pushed aside by any body.
Koku Anyidoho expelled from the NDC
Mr Koku Anyidoho, a former Deputy General Secretary of the NDC was sacked six month after he was suspened from the party over an alleged misconduct and anti-party behaviour.
A statement signed by Mr Asiedu Nketia on behalf of the party said he was found guilty of the allegations.
Expulsion letter
“The committee’s report (which is attached for your perusal) found you guilty of the allegations of misconduct and anti party behavior and recommended your outright expulsion from the party” a statement announcing his expulsion on July 27 read.
“The Functional Executive Committee (FEC), acting in compliance of article 48(1) of the NDC constitution unanimously adopted the report and accepts full responsibility for your expulsion from the party” .
“You, are, therefore by the decision of FEC expelled from the National Democratic Congress and for that matter, you are no more recognized as a member of the party and cannot carry.
Anyidoho left us with no option
Mr Asiedu Nketia subsequently opined in an interview with TV3 that he was found guilty because he failed to appear before the committee to defend himself of the allegations leveled against him despite several invitations to him.
“……..They have tried all the means. If you have read the report, we did, they use ordinary letters, he refuse to accept it. It was sent by courier which has been receipted and he actually indicated that he will not accept the letter on two occasions. As for WhatsApp email messages and email messages, several of them so they came to the conclusions that he was simply evading and so they then draw the conclusion and recommended his expulsion,” he told TV3 News360.
But speaking on Okay FM in Accra, he denied knowledge of such invitations.
An official letter addressed to Mr Asiedu Ntetia to furnish him with his expulsion letter also never received any response from the former, Mr Anyidoho said.
