Renowned Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Ms Yvonne Nelson has added her voice to ongoing discussions among Ghanaians about trust in the government.
Speaking in a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com, Ms Nelson said believing in the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led government is like believing it will snow in Ghana, something that is impossible as far as the country’s weather condition is concern.
“Believing in this government is like believing it will snow in Ghana,” Ms Nelson’s twitter post said.

The Akufo-Addo led government has come under intense criticisms following its ability to fulfill a number of promises he made to Ghanaians prior to his election into office, especially in the areas of job creation.
Prior to his election in 2012 and subsequently in 2020, he promised the people of Ghana among other things a one district, one factor, better economy and Free Senior High School Education.
However, Although not all have been achieved, some headway have been made in the areas of education as far as free SHS is concerned.
But to many Ghanaians, hardships have increase under his administration.
What has broke the camel’s back recently is his proposed electronic transaction levy (e-levy) seeking to tax some 1.5 on electronic transactions above
₵100 , mobile money inclusive.
