Openly ask for investigations into Atta-Mills’ death – Anyidoho begs Ghanaians

Vida Essel-LampteyThe Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Atta-Mills Institute Mr Koku Anyidoho has appealed to Ghanaians to openly demand an investigation into the death of the late former President John Fiifi Atta Mills.
Mr Anyidoho, a formal aide to the late former President made the appeal in a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com on Thursday, January 3.
“I continue to dare John Dramani Mahama to an OPEN DEBATE. People of of Ghana, please openly ask for an, INQUEST, into the death of President John Evans Atta-Mills I beg you in the name of God Almighty”, his tweet reads.

Ghana’s President John Atta-Mills dead
Ghana’s President, John Fiifi Atta-Mills dead in 2012, three years into his presidency which began in 2009 under strange circumstances.
Widely known as Asomdwee hen due to his peaceful demeanor, the President also referred to many as Professor Mills died at the 37 Military hospital in Accra after a short illness.
He died on July 24, 2012.
A statement from the Presidency at the time announcing his death said “It is with a heavy heart… that we announce the sudden and untimely death of the president of the Republic of Ghana”.
Prior to his ascension to the presidency and his later dead, Atta-Mills served the country in various capacities including the Vice President to Ghana’s late former President and founder of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Jerry John Rawlings.
A decade down the lane, Ghanaians are yet to be told what actually killed their President suddenly.
